The contractor will furnish all labor and equipment as needed for pumping, jetting, and proper disposal at the listed CDOT facilities. The successful bidder will provide a vacuum truck with sufficient capacity and the capability to draw and haul the sand, oils and water from ground vaults and floor sump areas of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Patrol Barns in one trip. • The contractor will perform jetting and pressure washing following the pumping service. • The contractor will also need to ensure the cleanliness of the sand separator and pipes by thoroughly cleaning the interior of the sand separator and the interior of the wash bay. • With the addition of emergency pumping removal if deemed necessary by the Colorado Department of Transportation. • The contractor is responsible for the disposal of materials contained within the sand separators, and any permits associated with the proper disposal of contaminated materials. Pumping to be done once in the fall and once in the spring for all locations. Multiple locations included in scope of work. R3 locations include: Winter Park, Granby, Hot Sulphur, Kremmling, Yampa, Walden, Steamboat, Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Craig, Maybell, Dinosaur, Rangely, Meeker, and Rifle. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
