SHARP Development, LLC (SHARP) on behalf of the owner, is seeking a General Contractor (GC) to provide Construction services for the rehabilitation work of a high-rise property located at 626 I St, Sacramento, CA 95814. This project is part of the Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento’s (HA) plan to convert its assets to the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and ownership by SHARP and their partners. GCs with relevant experience and the qualifications required to implement the scope of work as described in this RFP are encouraged to respond. The selected Contractor will work with the owner’s Project Team and the expectation is that a Construction Contract will be negotiated with the selected GC. Project duration is 6 -7 months. Questions due by April 13th @ 5:00 PM. The following trades must be performed by a contractor/subcontractor who holds the specialty license: Electrical (C-10), Fire Protection (C-16), Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and A/C (C-20), and Plumbing Contractor (C-36). The other possible subcontracting trades are Construction Clean-up (D-63), Drywall (C-9), Hardware, Locks and Safes (D-6), Flooring (C-15) and Painting (C-33). Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
