Construction of a groundwater treatment plant (GWTP) for Alliance Regional Water Authority (AWRA). AWRA has acquired approximately 568-acres of land in Caldwell County for the development of a groundwater wellfield including acres for a new GWTP facility. In addition to the groundwater produced from the ARWA wells, the new GWTP will also treat water from the nearby Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) wellfield. The new wellfield and groundwater treatment facility will be developed in phases, with this initial phase, 1B, having a treatment capacity of 19.51-MGD. The work described for this project includes: • ARWA Well Pumps and Pump Discharge Piping • Well Field Collection Piping and Roads • Raw Water Storage Tanks • Chemical Feed Systems • Filters in Filter Building • Clearwells • High Service Pump Station and Electrical Building • Administration Building • Solids Handling Facilities. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. HUB participation: 11.2% (GFE required).
