The Contractor bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to renovate and refurbish the 2.5-meter Alfa Laval Ashbrook Simon-Hartley Klampress Belt Filter Press (BFP) and the cake conveyor system. Provide new materials and coatings, rollers, bearings, belt wash system components, hydraulic system components, discharge scrapers, belt drive units, dewatering belts, electrical system components, and gravity/wedge drainage sections for the BFP. Removal and replacement of the belt components as specified and install a new safety stop cable system to allow an operator to stop the conveyor by pulling a cable located around the perimeter of the conveyor. The Contract Time for completion of Work under the awarded Contract shall be commenced within ten (10) business days of the date provided in the Notice to Proceed. Construction of the project shall reach Substantial Completion within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days of the date provided in the Notice to Proceed, and shall reach Final Completion within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days of the date of Substantial Completion. The temporary dewatering system should be provided for thirty (30) consecutive calendar days with cost for each additional week or month the system is needed beyond this period.
