The Project work consist of construction of sidewalks, curbing, ADA accessible drop apron. The Scope of Work includes and is not limited to the following: removal, stockpile, cleaning and reinstallation of the historic bluestone curbing on the property. Additional historic bluestone curbing as needed is available at the City of Norwalk Department of Public Works Yard. Selection, transport and cleaning of this material is considered part of the contract work, in addition to re-use of historic bluestone curing the project work includes provision and installation of granite curb, formation and construction of a mountable concrete as located on the site plans and details, construction of a concrete walk linking the ADA Accessible ramp, and parking space north of the Historic Barn to and across the front of the Historic Jailhouse to the end of the project property line, removal and reinstallation of the steel bollards at the existing utility transformer, coordination with other vendors for the installation of a sanitary and gas utility line into the Historic Barn and Jail House, coordination with the First Taxing District Water Company for relocation of the fire hydrant, asphalt repair, provision and installation of concrete wheel stops, re-striping of the parking spaces including the Handicapped space ground paint, connection the historic barn and jail roof leaders to the existing in-ground stormwater discharge units, installation of the metal and gravel mow strip along the historic barn exterior wall, removal of turf and meadow grasses, importing planting soil and replanting with shrubs, groundcover and herbaceous plant materials, and repair and fine grading of gravel surface in the mustering spaces to meet new concrete walk grades.
