This project includes the abandonment of one municipal water well No. 17, which consists of removal of well-site piping and equipment; and restoration of the well site. The project also includes bid alternates to abandon two municipal water wells, Nos. 10 and 20. The purpose of this work is to properly seal the wells, thereby preventing vertical movement of water between the aquifers penetrated by these wells from ground surface.All work shall be carried out in conformance with applicable regulations of Valley Water and the State of California Department of Water Resources. 70 work days
