Estimate: $4,940.000.00 - $5,200,000.00

Construction includes all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications: at the existing cooling tower yard consists of the demolition of various existing equipment, appurtenances and components necessary for the installation of the new cooling towers, inlet and outlet piping, valves and accessories, control valves, make-up water piping, drain piping, power and controls; demolition of the existing dolphin water treatment system; installation of supports, pads and platforms; priming and painting of the entire remaining and new structural steel supports. Installation of three basin sweepers and associated piping; priming and painting of the entire remaining and new structural steel supports. Work at existing chiller plant and temporary chiller yard consists of installation and connection of permanent emergency chilled water piping/fittings and temporary chilled water piping/fittings to (3) temporary packaged air-cooled rental chillers on separate flat-bed mobile trailers. Temporary chillers will be connected, interfaced, commissioned and controlled by existing Johnson Controls building automation system. Work at boiler plant consist of the removal of (5) existing natural gas-fired boilers and appurtenances, (4) existing heating hot water pumps, associated existing piping/fittings, existing hydronic valves and appurtenances, existing control valves, existing piping supports, existing equipment pads, existing power and controls as necessary for connection to the new equipment and systems; installation of (8) natural-gas fired boilers with associated heating hot water piping, pumps, devices and accessories; installation of (3) plate and frame heat exchangers and associated heating hot water piping, equipment, devices, pumps and accessories to the existing heating hot water system; roof openings and roofing for boiler flue penetrations through roof; demolition of existing flues, patching and weather-proofing of unused roof openings. Removal of two building heating hot water pumps. Installation of three building heating hot water pumps. Work at city of Las Vegas operated parking lot consists of all necessary planning, coordination and construction for temporary relocation of the (6) existing ADA parking spaces and restoration to the original location after completion of construction. Structural work consists of cooling tower supports and platforms, concrete pads and anchorage for all equipment, supports for piping and suspended equipment; wall and roof penetrations. Electrical work includes power distribution and service to all HVAC equipment and controls. Modifications to existing siemens switch gear to serve the requirements of temporary chillers and addition of 1000 amps fuses. Testing, adjusting and balancing of the hydronic system in multiple sessions as required due to project phasing. System commissioning per requirements of contract documents. Integration of the new and existing BACnet control system. This work shall be performed in multiple phases. Refer to mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications for information on phasing requirements of this project. Questions are due by April 27th @ 10:00 PM. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
