The project shall consist of removing the entire structure in a fashion that will prevent any damage to the statue and stone as well as the 4 cannons and stands. The 13 granite steps on the south east side of the park shall be removed and replaced with concrete steps including new metal railing. There is an assumed structure behind the stone panels that shall be removed as well. The foundation, pavers (save pavers for reuse), and footing shall be removed, filled, compacted, fine-graded, and sod installed to match existing sod. Contractor shall provide secure project fencing and signage for the project duration. Bidders shall submit a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Pensacola in the amount of five (5) percent of base bid for a period of sixty (60) days.
