Rockdale Water Resources is requesting sealed bids for the removal, rebuild and Installation of two (2) service pumps at the Hightower Pump Station (BP-2 & BP-3). Located at 1055 Pleasant Hill Road, Conyers Ga 30012. Remove, rebuild and re-install both pumps. Perform startup as conditions allow (working with operations and maintenance staff) and perform vibration test for base line. Check for leaks and proper operation. To facilitate minimum down time Rockdale water plant management, require that one pump/motor be removed, rebuilt, reinstalled, and perform start up before the second pump/motor are removed. Pump and motor (BP-3) shall be the first pump/motor to be removed. After startup of (BP-3), pump and motor (BP-2) can be pulled for rebuild.
