Construction of a new 1500 s.f. one story addition, of Type VB construction, and interior renovations to the existing 5850 s.f. building. The new construction shall be wood stud framing with brick veneer and wood roof trusses. The Work shall be conducted in two (2) phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated: Phase One consists of the new addition. Work of this phase shall commence within 10 days after the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy by contractual date established for Substantial Completion. Phase Two consist of interior renovations to the existing building. The remaining Work shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy by contractual date established for Substantial Completion for the Work. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Personal checks, certified checks, letters of credit, etc., are not acceptable. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
