Bidder shall regrade soil around both additions placing finish grade six inches (6”) below the building slab. Channeling drainage towards north and south drainage system. Bidder shall remove existing sidewalks and replace in conjunction with new finish grade to be six inches (6”) below building slab. Bidder shall provide and install storm drainage storage tank, lift station and supply power to it. Bidder shall install concrete swale in the alleys that lay between the existing structure and both addition structures, swales should connect to the storm system moving water away from the building. Bidder shall install missing asphalt at parking beside sidewalk in front of building and repair asphalt inside of fencing behind guard shack. Bidder shall install curb near fire hydrant at parking lot. Bidder shall identify, remove and reinstall grounding ring per code surrounding both addition buildings. Bidder shall complete fencing installation including ground ring and remove temporary fencing as directed. Bidder shall inspect and repair & replace metal roofing as needed. Bidder shall install additional concrete with reinforcement at new daylight concrete pad to support the relocation of the daylight cages. Bidder shall lower storm drainage in swale and replace 6” PVC with eight inch (8”) PVC at south building. Bidder shall relocate daylight cages. Visitation Building –Bidder shall terminate camera at top of exterior wall. Bidder shall repair and replace damaged capstone at window bearing expansion joint in the alley way between old and new building. Bidder shall attach junction box to exterior wall across from room 334. Bidder shall inspect and repair flooring crack in corridor 310. Bidder shall install exit sign in corridor 310 above door 310. Bidder shall camera all sewer lines in south building and repair as needed. Bidder shall complete plumbing in rooms 319, 324, 325 and isolation cells. Bidder shall install and complete Ceilings in Corridor 105A, 305, 310, 319, 321, 323, 322A, 324, 325, and 341. Bidder shall install and complete Ceilings in Corridor 105A, 305, 310, 319, 321, 323, 322A, 324, 325, and 341. Bidder shall adjust HVAC vents to be flush with ceilings for entire project. Bidder shall provide electrical wall outlets and boxes as needed entire project. The successful Bidder shall give a Contract Bid Bond, Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, post a Bid Bond of five percent (5%) of the bid price, a Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price and a Performance Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price, for the use of all persons doing work or furnishing skills, tools, machinery, or materials under or for the purpose of the resulting Contract, in accordance with the applicable provisions of Georgia state law, including but not limited to O.C.G.A. § 13-10-1 and § 36-91-21 et seq. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
