Project consists of alterations and improvements to an existing 4,112 sf one-story volume on a semi-rectangular concrete slab on grade. This volume shares a common wall with an adjoining building but is otherwise freestanding. A 2004-era double pitched metal roof on light gauge framing was retrofitted over the original 1965-era flat roof section of long-spanning roof deck, fiberboard insulation and built-up roofing. This assembly remains in place beneath. The roof is cantilevered over the walls on all sides, creating deep eaves and porch areas. HSP required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
