The work to be performed under this contract consists of the complete removal of an existing single span concrete ridged frame, wingwalls and timber sheeting and pile supported concrete footing and the staged construction of a new single span precast concrete frame with cast in place reinforced concrete wingwalls founded on cast in place reinforced concrete footings supported on 12” diameter concrete filled steel pipe piles. Also included in this work is the construction of a precast concrete parapet, temporary cofferdam and permanent sheeting, utility supports and maintenance of storm water outfall. This work also involves the reconstruction of the approach roadways including storm sewers, utility relocations, sidewalks, curbs, driveways, bituminous concrete pavement, the establishment and maintenance of one lane of traffic for vehicular and pedestrian traffic through the project limits utilizing temporary signals, and other incidental and necessary work shown on the Construction Plans and as further described herein. The term of the contract to be awarded as the result of this bid shall be for one (1) year from the date of execution of the agreement unless otherwise stated. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
