The City of Tempe (City) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for cathodic protection system maintenance and repair services for the Municipal Utilities / Water Utilities Division (WUD). Resulting contract is established for two-years (2) with renewal options. Inspection and maintenance shall be performed once per year on all systems. The inspection and evaluation of the cathodic protection systems shall include, but not be limited to the following: The cathodic protection systems shall be tested by the corrosion field engineer to verify compliance with the applicable requirements of N.A.C.E. standards RP0196-04 (1983 revision), RP0388-01 and A.W.W.A. standard D104-04. All CP components exposed to the reservoir / tank interiors shall be UL classified in accordance with ANSI/NSF standard 61 per Arizona State Citation AAC-R18-213.
