The District is contracting SCADA improvement work at El Dorado Hills Water Treatment Plant that includes 8 PLCs with around another 6 - 8 remote racks that will be converted to modern PLCs while maintaining service to remote facilities. The remaining mixture of remote I/O device and mismatched end of service life units and will be replaced. Typical tasks proposer will perform include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Conduct field construction inspection for the District throughout the project. 2. Conduct field electrical and network construction inspections for the District throughout the project. 3. Review and provide comments on all submittals for the project. 4. Review construction plans to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications. 5. Observe, document, record, and complete activity and progress reports, including taking photos and videos of work sites before and during construction. 6. Complete daily inspection reports. 7. Interpret drawings and specifications and respond to questions from contractor. 8. Participate in pre-construction and bi-weekly construction meetings. 9. Witness and document all field testing of new equipment and programming. 10. Review, recommend for approval, and/or reject progress payments and change orders; review submittals, requests for information, reports and other related documents.
