The project is a structural upgrade & renovation of an existing 2-story concrete & unreinforced masonry building including renovated staff area, seismic upgrades, and accessibility improvements including a new elevator. Scope involves replacement of the existing HVAC and fire alarm systems; modification to the plumbing, fire sprinkler service, and electrical systems; structural upgrades including shotcrete walls and steel moment frames; replacement of existing elevator; excavation and site improvements for accessibility upgrades; and low-voltage & security improvements in coordination the the Owner’s vendors. The building is a designated Seattle landmark. The project is pursuing LEED Gold certification. All questions must be submitted in writing to the architect by 11/1/22 at 5 pm.
