8(a) Set-Aside, 561730 - Landscaping Services. Contractor shall provide Grounds Maintenance for all High Visibility (Improved Grounds) and Common Areas (Semi-Improved Grounds). The Contractor shall ensure all work accomplished maintains and presents a healthy, clean, neat, and professional appearance to all grounds included and covered by this contract in support of mission requirements for users, residents, and visitors. The Contractor shall mow grass only when the minimum height is reached or exceeded as indicated by the Work Capability Levels table in paragraph 3.0. The Contractor shall replace any new trees or shrubs planted that die within one (1) year, at no cost to the Government. Snow & ice removal: Pavement clearance includes, but is not limited to, the following: plowing and sweeping of salt or snow from roads, access control points (ACP), driveways, and parking areas by pushing and piling the snow into adjacent areas or by collecting and removing sand. Historical data on routine pavement clearing and emergency snow and ice removal is provided by the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) in TE C and the Work Capability Levels Table in Section 3.0. The Contractor shall begin clearing from areas identified in TE C when accumulations have reached (1) inch or within 2 hours of notification by the COR/ACOR. Snow / ice shall be cleared from walkways, doorways, and gates to provide full opening and safe access for personnel and equipment. Snow piles shall not be left in the plowed or swept areas. Offerors must submit any questions regarding this solicitation in writing to the CS no later than 1:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) on 7 October 2022. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
