The Newport-Mesa Unified School District is seeking proposals/qualifications pursuant to Education Code 17400 et seq. firms for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services entities qualified to provide to the District a full range of LLB services for the District’s proposed Estancia High School Theater. The LLB services will include, but are not necessarily limited to, pre-construction services including constructability review, and value engineering, as well as all phases of construction services. The full scope of work for the Project is further set forth in the Request for Proposals/Qualifications available on PlanetBids. In order to submit a response to the RFP/Q, all proposers must meet the District’s minimum prequalification requirements as further set forth in the RFP/Q. As further described in the RFP/Q, the winning proposal(s) will be that which offers the best value to the District as determined pursuant to the best value criteria and evaluation process set forth in the in the RFP/Q. Upon selection of the best value firm, the District will endeavor to negotiate a mutually agreeable LLB agreement with the selected firm. In the event that the District is unable to reach agreement, the District will proceed, at its sole discretion, to negotiate with the next firm selected by the District. Letters of Interest due by 9/2/22. Questions deadline is 9/30/22 by 3:30 pm. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
