Nevada County is inviting proposals from qualified firms that can provide shovel ready projects to quickly expanding affordable housing. Specifically, Nevada County seeks projects partners to develop:

New, affordable rental housing, with a number of units set aside for households experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness
Acquisition and rehabilitation of existing structures or sites able to be used as interim/transitional housing, permanent affordable housing, or interim housing that can be converted to permanent housing for households experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Nevada County is preparing for multiple affordable housing funding opportunities that focus on providing units of housing for households experiencing homelessness in an effort to quickly reduce the number of households experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness in the County.
