The City of Elk Grove (City) is accepting proposals from qualified Solar and Energy Contractor(s) (“Contractor”) interested in the development of approximately 670 kilowatts (kW) of solar generation systems for the design, installation and procurement of an all ground mount area to serve three (3) independently metered areas, each serviced by Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) for the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems at the City’s District 56 site (Work) in accordance with the included specifications, terms, and conditions shown in this Request for Proposals (RFP). To provide the best value to the City, various financing options are sought so that the City can select from appropriate choices including, but not limited to direct purchase, other cost-effective options and/or a combination thereof that create net cost saving to the City. Prospective respondents are advised to read this information over carefully prior to submitting a proposal.
