A state and federally funded contract. DBE goals are to be determined. This project will rehabilitate nearly eight miles of I-5 between Yesler Way in downtown Seattle and Northeast 117th Street near Northgate. The project replaces the existing cement concrete pavement, hot mix asphalt pavement, bridge deck overlay pavements, and bridge expansion joints on northbound I-5 from the Ship Canal Bridge to Northeast 117th Street and southbound from Northeast 117th Street to Yesler Way. In addition, it rehabilitates the existing pavements of select I-5 on- and off-ramps by planing and paving with HMA pavement. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
