The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from highly qualified teams interested in providing professional Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) engineering support services to support FVRL on an on-call/as needed basis. FVRL requires engineering support services for a variety of projects that include remodel and renovation of facilities, project planning and other MEP related activities throughout FVRL’s service area. This RFQ is for the purpose of selecting an MEP Engineering firm to provide engineering services in connection with planned and unplanned projects. Potential projects include remodels/renovation, mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawing support and review, and controls upgrades and plumbing work. Specifically, this agreement will include assistance with the renovation of 2018 Grand Boulevard, currently out for construction bids and due to start this fall. Project Goals for on-call projects: • Maximize efficiencies in design and construction for the consultants, FVRL staff and contractors • Maintain coordinated project schedule for completing work on time • Practice sustainable design, make recommendations to improve performance • Communicate effectively with stakeholders • Minimize disruptions to FVRL SELECTION PROCESS AND TIMELIN
