The Albany County Airport Authority is hereby requesting statements of qualifications from firms with prior airport design experience for professional engineering and survey services for the proposed Taxiway “A” (75’x 8,500’) Pavement Rehabilitation Project and Contract Administration at Albany International Airport. The proposed project comprises “mill and fill” asphalt paving rehabilitation for existing Taxiway “A” (75 feet wide) including incidental striping, surface drainage improvements and subgrade improvements with additional select P209 placement. All proposed improvements would occur within the Airfield Security Identification Display Area. No filling or other potential adverse effect to Federal or State freshwater wetlands or other environmental critical areas is anticipated as a result of this project.
