The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about January 6, 2021. All work under this Contract shall be completed by December 14, 2022. The location of services to be performed on the Tri-State Tollway between Mile Post 19.3 and Mile Post 22.3 in Cook County, Illinois. Retaining Wall Demolition and Construction. Noise Abatement Wall Demolition and Construction. ITS Gantry and Overhead Sign Structure Construction. Enclosed Drainage System Removal and Construction. Roadway Pavement Removal and Construction. Construction of Westbound Archer Avenue to Northbound Tri-State Tollway (I-294 )Ramp, Including All-Electronic Ramp Toll Plaza. Sub-Structure Widening and Slopewall Modifications, Bridge No. 177 (88th Ave over I-294). Erosion Control and Landscaping. Guardrail and Barrier Wall Removal and Construction. Roadway Lighting Removal and Construction. Pavement Marking and Signage Installation. Maintenance of Traffic During Construction. Protection and/or Relocation of Utilities.Intelligent transportation systems and fiber optic cable installation. Bond required please refer to documents for details. This contract includes a specific DBE utilization goal of 26% of the Core Work of the contract. This project encouraged DBE participation.
