The project consists of installing Carlisle's Sure-Seal 115-mil FleeceBACK EPDM Adhered Roofing System in conjunction with FAST Adhesive as outlined below on the lower roof area: clean existing EPDM roof with a light power wash and allow to dry. Tear off and properly dispose of the existing flashings. Any wet or damaged roof insulation or components must be removed and replaced in kind. Apply the FleeceBACK 115-mil EPDM adhered membrane system using Carlisle FAST adhesive, applied with spatter in accordance with current specifications and details for a 20 year warranty 55 MPH warranty on all new work. An infrared scan must performed by the contractor prior to start of construction. Contractor will be required to include replacement of 320 sq. ft. of wet insulation in bid. Additional insulation removal and replacement must be shown as a unit cost. Remove existing system on upper area and replace with tapered insulation and 2.5” HD composite insulation. Adhere .060 non-reinforced EPDM to insulation using Cavgrip III as per manufactures requirements. Deadline for questions is June 28, 2021 by 4:00pm.
