Scope of Work: 1315 SE 19th Street Warrenton, OR. In general, the scope is to replace the existing roof per specifications. Roofing product: CertainTeed Northgate ClimateFlex2 . No substitutions allowed. With Sure Start 5-Star Warranty. CertainTeed Ridge Vent Filtered, 9 in width, Class A rated. To replace existing. Wind warranty upgrade required to 130 miles per hour. Wind warranty upgrade – Products are warranted to resist blow-off due to wind velocities, including gusts, up to a maximum of 130 miles per hour during the first fifteen (15) years, provided all of the following conditions are met: 1. The CertainTeed shingles are not applied over existing roof shingles (roof-overs are not permitted). 2. The CertainTeed specified corresponding hip and ridge accessory products are installed as cap shingles [Shadow Ridge®, Cedar Crest®, Shingle Ridge®, Mountain Ridge® and Landmark Solaris®(& IR)]. 3. The CertainTeed specified corresponding starter shingles are installed along the roof eaves and rakes (Swiftstart ®, High-Performance Starter and Presidential® Starter) CertainTeed Ridge Vent (4 lf) Filtered, 9 in width, Class A rated. Submit manufactures information on all products that will be used on site. Provide contractors own means and methods for performing work. Submit work and safety plan to County for review. Comply with State Building Codes and the requirements of local Code Officials. Comply with all OSHA safety requirements. Obtain and pay for permit if required. Assume damage to existing building caused by work on this project and restore any damage. Guarantee all work for (1) year from date of completion, unless manufacture provides longer warranty. (Prevailing Wage applies if cost of the Work exceeds $50,000). The bidder acknowledges that the Work must be completed prior to December 31, 2022. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
