The project involves repair of two 96” diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culverts under the Herbert Hoover Dike at the S-135 Pump Station. The project includes the use of a chemical grouting consisting of hydro-insensitive high density polyurethane polymers (HDPP) injected and pressure controlled through drilled ports that penetrate through the CMP at specified locations access from the culvert’s interior. The project also includes installation of a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner inside the two 96” culverts.
