The work to be done under this Contract at the Sahlin Street Pump Station consists of the replacement of 150 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic type consisting of two ejector receiver(s) with the necessary piping and valves, TEFC motor driven air compressors, compressor control panel, air receiver piping and valves, and supports. The work also includes the following: Demolition of the existing electrical systems, pneumatic ejector system including the air tanks, compressors, and all incidentals. Demolition of the existing access hatch, pump station opening, and other areas as required gaining access into the pump station for replacement of the pneumatic ejector system. Temporary by-pass pumping of the sewer. Installation of a new access hatch including all concrete and masonry repair as required. Installation of new aluminum access ladders including all concrete and masonry repair as required. All electrical work detailed in Specification Section 260500. SSPC-SP13/NACE No. 6 – Abrasive Blast cleaning the inside of the existing structure, repairing the structure as needed to make watertight and fill in any holes and or cracks, and paint/coat as detailed in specification 099100. All other work as required and as indicated in the contract documents. The additive alternate work to be done under this Contract at the Monterey Drive Pump Station consists of the following: The removal of the existing 50 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic sewer ejector pots, piping, valves, air receiver tanks and piping, and supports. Installation of 75 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic type consisting of two ejector receiver(s) with the necessary piping and valves, compressor control panel, air receiver piping and valves, and supports. Coordination with Town during installation to assist with by-pass pumping over the course of a 24 hour period. If the contractor needs additional time they are responsible for temporary by-pass pumping. Connection of all new control panels and devices into the existing electrical and instrumentation systems. All other work as required and as indicated in the contract documents. The construction calendar days are 180 days. Contractor is required to order all long lead time items within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed. Deadline for questions is September 22, 2021 by 10:00am. Bonds and prevailing wages
