The scope of work for this project consists of installation of 30-inch DIP Watermain and replacement of existing 6-inch distribution mains with 8” DIP inside the right-of-way and under the existing pavement. The existing 30” steel watermain and some of the 6-inch distribution mains will be abandoned in place and filled with non-shrink grout. There is a 30-inch steel watermain located within the street, and behind residential houses. Components also include the replacement and installation of 8-inch DIP Water main inside the right-of-way. The site conditions will not be altered from the existing. All disturbed pavement and landscaping will be replaced in kind. These pipelines are underperforming at the minimum standard level of service required. The proposed construction will also include fittings, and major water lines devices which will render the need of repaving and curbing of the road surface course where needed including the installation and maintenance of erosion control. The Work also includes furnishing, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and furnishing labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.
