The work is generally comprised of the installation of four proposed fire hydrants at the SE 47th Club Square Commercial Center, wet tap of existing 6” asbestos cement water mains, installation of approximately 40 linear feet of 6” ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main and approximately 770 linear feet of 8” DIP water main. In addition to the installation of water utilities, roadway open cut and repair, driveway repair, sidewalk repair, landscaping repair, reconstruction of two ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) ramps, and the construction of two proposed grassed islands to accommodate two of the four fire hydrants that are included in the scope of work.
