The pre-bid meeting will be held in the Capital Projects Meeting Room, located at 2128 Richmond Highway, Suite 103, Stafford, VA 22554. The site visits shall immediately follow the pre-bid meeting and will occur at each of the three (3) job sites. More information regarding the site visits will occur at the pre-bid meeting.
Trades: Tree Service Contractor: Tree Trimming/Pruning, Tree & Stump Removal/Rooting/Grinding
The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes from potential Contractor(s) to perform selective tree removal services for three (3) upcoming construction projects. All trees necessary for removal are located within the individual project limits and identified Limits of Disturbance (LOD) as shown on the attached plan sets (Attachment B) for Berea Church Rd (Route 654) Improvements, Jefferson Davis Hwy (Rte. 1), and Safety Improvements Route 1 Telegraph/Woodstock projects (see Attachment B). Trees will be removed at the base and stumps will be sprayed with herbicides. All felled trees must be removed from the jobsite daily, requests for felled tree storage must be in writing and approved by the project manager and/or designee. Tree removal within the LOD for all three (3) of these projects must be completed prior to November 21, 2022. Questions must be received no later than September 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
