The scope of the project is to reconstruct approximately a 1.2 mile segment of the roadways within the Sierra Sunset Subdivision in northeast Bexar County. The limits of the project are from North Foster Road to approximately 380 feet east of the intersection Marin Island. The scope of work includes roadway improvements and pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Typical section alternatives includes addition of a shared-use path on the north side, addition of turn-lane medians, and addition of bicycle lanes. Also included is a traffic signal warrant analysis for Sierra Sunset and Woodlake Parkway, and drainage evaluation of the project area. Status- Preliminary Design Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
