The project begins on Huntington Ave (SR 411) at Cowlitz View Dr and proceeds east across the I-5 overpass, terminating at the intersection of Mt. St. Helens Way (SR 504) and Old Pacific Highway/Dougherty Dr. NE. Improvements west of the I-5 southbound on/off ramps consists of restriping the existing roadway to provide a 6-foot wide shoulder adjacent to the westbound lane, constructing a pedestrian relief island and relocating pedestrian push buttons and associated crosswalks. Improvements east of I-5 southbound on/off ramps consist of restriping the existing roadway to provide 9-foot wide shoulders, 2-foot wide shoulder buffers, 11-foot drive lanes, and a 12-foot center turn lane.
