Install soil erosion measures.Install debris protection so no material enters the stream. Remove existing deck and keep abutments intact. Provide temporary access to residents or arrange for access from adjacent owners. It would be pedestrian access only.Excavation to take place beyond the bed and banks of the stream. Install sump to de-water if necessary. All water must be filtered and clean before being introduced into stream.Install sheathing if necessary, so that existing abutments are to remain to define the limits of the stream. Sheathing can either remain in place or be removed. Install prefabricated concrete footings as per manufacture’s design. All excavated material and debris are to be removed off-site. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
