The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide various types of equipment with experienced drivers/operators to perform Emergency Snow and Ice Removal Operations on designated Interstates located within the Hampton Roads District cities of Hampton, Newport News, and the counties of York and James City in accordance with the specifications herein. This contract will be awarded in two (2) lots: Lot 1: I-64 Begin MM 224.39 (James City Co./New Kent Co. line) and End MM 247; Lot 2: I-64 Begin MM 247 and End 268.4 MM (foot of HRBT west approach bridge). Period of contract: From Date of Award through one (1) year. (renewable). Q&A due by noon, 6/28/21. SBE documentation required.
