Work includes the construction of a soldier pile wall and slope stabilization along the north slope of N. 2550th Rd. (Sandy Cosgrove Road). Work consist of earth excavation, furnished excavation, aggregate, porous granular embankment , installation of underdrain piping, concrete curb and gutter, removal of concrete barrier wall, and installation of guardrail. The project is located along N. 2550th Road (Sandy Cosgrove Road) in the County of LaSalle; under the jurisdiction of Peru Road District. It is approximately 1 mile southwest of Rte. 251, along N. 2551st. Road (Ben Samek Road). The project limits are bound by the intersection of N. 2551st Road (Ben Samek Road) to a point approximately 1/4 mile east along N. 2550th Road (Sandy Cosgrove Road), including the north slope of N. 2550th Road. Contract Time: 105 working days. DBE goal 2%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
