The Western Virginia Water Authority (Authority) will receive sealed Bids for the construction of the Southlake Water Storage Tank. The Project consists of all Work necessary to furnish and install a complete water storage tank system, including, but not limited to: fabrication and erection of one nominal 200,000 gal “Pedesphere” elevated water storage tank, foundation, piping, coatings, and associated equipment and appurtenances, including design and site work incidental thereto as indicated in the Bidding Documents. The water storage tank shall be a welded steel design in compliance with the latest revision of AWWA D100 Standards. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 335 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Questions due 3 days prior to bid date. Bonds required.
