For the improvement of certain section of roadway and bridge in Pike County, Greene Township, State Route 0390, Section 472. The project being situated as follows: From approximately ¼ mile Northeast of the intersection with SR 3002 at Segment 0060 Offset 2353 (Station 264+10) to a point approximately 6 miles Southwest of the intersection with SR 0084 at Segment 0070 Offset 0468 (Station 275+00) along SR 0390 Sec 472, Promised Land Road with a total length of 890.00 Ft. (0.169 Mi.). This project involves a bridge replacement over Bridge Creek to an existing single-span rolled steel I-beam bridge supported on concrete abutments. The proposed structure is an 80'-0" long, single-span prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge on full height reinforced concrete abutments. The structure will have a new 8” thick reinforced concrete deck and PA Type 10M barriers. The proposed curb-to-curb deck width is 41’-0”, including 11’-0” travel lanes and 8’-0” shoulders. Approach roadway full-depth reconstruction will be approximately 375' to the west and 200' to the east. The bridge replacement work will be staged using half-width construction and a single-lane, alternating pattern controlled by temporary traffic signals. Other work includes: excavation, asphalt paving, drainage, guiderail, temporary concrete barrier, landscaping, E & S control measures, pavement markings, signs, bridge removal, temporary excavation & support and other miscellaneous construction work. DBE goal 2%. Prequalification required.
