For the improvement of certain section of highways and bridges in Lackawanna County, South Abington Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 4023, Section 0251. PennDOT District 4-0 will complete repairs to the bridge deck on S.R. 4023 (Scott Road) over Leggetts Creek in South Abington Township, Lackawanna County. Traffic control measures include a 3.78-mile detour using state roads. The bridge rehabilitation work over Griffin Reservoir Dam includes repoint both stone masonry abutment items, perform Type 2 and Type 3 concrete repairs on sections of deck and curb, place 3/8” epoxy based deck surface treatment, extend curb drains beyond face of curb, mill and pave roadway approaches and reseal deck joints, repair chain link fence post base, repair shoulder erosion & clean / flush deck and approach curb drains in retaining wall along eastbound lane. All work contained within an overall length of 230 linear feet (0.044 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package. DBE goal 8%. Prequalification required. Required Completion: 11/10/22. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
