The scope of work is to replace all controllers for chiller plant, AHUs, and VAVs per equipment schedule (see attached drawings provided by BRPH Architect/Engineers) o On the bid price sheet, you must provide pricing per any additional VAV controller replacement in case there are some to replace outside the equipment schedule provided. Install category 6 cable (CAT 6) for controllers’ communication. It is advisable to use controllers which have built in switch capability so that CAT 6 daisy chain can be achieved; thus only few switch ports will be needed. Ethernet hubs are not allowed; SDOC IT Department prohibits their use. In the event you do not use controllers with built in switch capability, you will have to factor the additional cost for switches in each IDF/MDF room. This will have to be coordinated with SDOC IT Department. Bonds required. Please see the attached document for details about wage rates.
