The Valdosta Regional Airport will accept proposals to replace the current roof on the Passenger Terminal. Bronze Color. Standing Seam. Replace damaged roof insulation with the same or higher insulation value product to be considered incidental. Gutter system mounted to the side of the building to go over the existing “in the wall gutters”. A minimum of a 20-year warranty. Bronze flashing and trim. New boots on all roof penetrations. A construction plan must be provided to ensure the interior of the building is protected from inclement weather conditions. Airport Badging will be required during this project, which will require a background check and strenuous escorting of non-badged personnel. A training class for the badge takes about 1.5 hours and must be completed prior to the issuance of access badges. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
