The project consists of the removal and replacement of the combined sewers on State Street from W. Monroe Street to Governor Street. The project also includes the reconnection of service sewers along with the construction of manholes, inlets, and all other work necessary to make a complete project. Removal and replacement of the combined sewers shall consist of removing existing sewers and replacing the existing with new sewer where identified on the Plans. Removal and replacement shall include the reconnection of laterals and storm pipes, turf removal and replacement, pavement removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, inlet removal and replacement, manhole remove and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, and all other work necessary to make a complete project. It is the intent of these Specifications that payment under the unit prices as set forth in the Proposal shall include all labor, tools, material, equipment, and permits necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications, those referenced, and as shown in the Plans. All work required by this Contract shall be completed with 140 consecutive calendar days. Questions due via email to Owner by 5/18/2022, 12:00pm. MBE goal is 10%. FBE goal is 5%. Eighteen (18) percent of the total hours worked, per trade, should be performed by minority workers. Three (3) percent of the total hours worked, per trade, should be performed by female workers. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
