The State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to cover the requirements of the State of California for Modular Systems Furniture (MSF). The contract resulting from this solicitation will be mandatory for all State of California Departments after a waiver is obtained from the Prison Industry Authority (PIA) for the exemption of buying PIA’s MSF products. The term of any contract resulting from this solicitation will be for three (3) years. The contract will contain two (2) extension options for one (1) year or portion thereof. If a mutual agreement for a contract extension cannot be met, the contract may be terminated at the end of the current contract term and/or contract extension. All equipment offered must be new and the latest model in current production. Used, shopworn, refurbished, demonstrator, prototype or discontinued models are not acceptable. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
