Freeport Power Plant 2, 289 Buffalo Ave, Freeport, NY 11520. A rain date of Thursday, September 15, at 11:00am has been scheduled.

This base specification scope provides detailed requirements to furnish and install two (2) replacement outdoor, copper cast coil, dry type 13.8kV/4,160V station service transformers associated with Combustion Turbine #2 and designated AT4 (primary) and AT3 (backup), respectively. Connections to the existing 4,160V bus duct, connections to existing neutral grounding transformers, fan power/control/alarm, disconnect, removal/salvage of the existing nonserviceable two (2) VPI transformers and disconnect/rigging of temporary rental transformer AT4 onto a flatbed truck (provided by others) for return. (Item 1 on Price Proposal Form) As an alternate for evaluation by Purchaser, this specification scope also provides detailed requirements to furnish and install two (2) replacement outdoor oil-filled service transformers in lieu of dry-type transformers. (Alternate 1 on Price Proposal Form). As an alternate for evaluation by Purchaser, this specification scope also provides detailed requirements to provide additional warranty for either the cast coil or oil-filled transformer. (Alternate 2a & 2b on Price Proposal Form). See section 11. The Work shall include, but not limited to providing all work, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials and services, including, but not limited to, site mobilization, man-lifts, ladders, scaffolding, rigging, cranes, hardware, defined commissioning activities, testing, servicing and support activities as required and indicated to provide a complete and operational system, and to timely perform and complete the “Electrical” work and support required by the Seller, and in accordance with the reference documents and/or description listed below and the provisions of the agreement. Seller will be responsible for all requirements for the complete electrical installation and act as the licensed Electrical Contractor of record. Existing Neutral Grounding Resistor shall remain in place, be reutilized, and re-connected accordingly with new interconnection cable. All questions for clarification must be submitted by Thursday, October 20, 2022. Bonds required.
