Potential Bidders must meet at the west side entrance to the parking structure located at 5 E. Downer Place Aurora, IL 60505.
Trades: Highway, Road Improvement or Parking Lot Pavement Repair: May include Resurfacing or Chip Seal - General Engineering Contractor, Concrete Contractor: Pedestrian Improvements, Repairs, Sidewalks, Curbs & Gutters, Driveway & Handicap ADA Ramps NIGP 913-47, Masonry Contractor, General Engineering Contractor GEC
The proposed work consists of maintenance repairs to the parking structure which include: removal and replacement of the corroded shear connectors; repair of deteriorated concrete floor and columns; repair of damage expansion joint; replace sealants; re-coating of traffic topping and painting of concrete/masonry walls, handrails and doors & frames on two stair towers. The Contractor shall be required to complete all restoration work and punch list work for the project by Friday, October 14, 2022. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract. Questions via email to Owner by 5/25/2022, 5:00pm. A response to questions will only be sent to those in attendance at the mandatory pre-site meeting. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
