Fulton County Schools is seeking bids from contractors for restoration and maintenance of stormwater retention, detention, and water quality ponds (and associated rock filter dams, filter rings, forebays, micro-pools, sand filters, outlet control structures, spillways, inlet and discharge channels). FCS expects to schedule work at about 5 to 10 stormwater ponds per year under this contract. The Contractor shall supply labor, equipment, tools, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals to perform work, and to ensure a safe work environment for employees and the public in the vicinity of the job site. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary work permits and comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations and ordinances governing the work. Questions regarding the bidding process should be directed in writing to the Executive Director of Contracting via facsimile at (470) 254-1248. This bid provides the option for the Contractor to specify whether they desire to contract for work in North Fulton County (job sites typically north of I-20), South Fulton County (job sites typically south of I-20), or the entire county. Only questions received prior to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 will be considered. Bonds required.
