The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the STREET SWEEPING SERVICE. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, service and incidentals to perform all work necessary to provide the City with street sweeping service on approximately one hundred and five (105) curb lane miles of roadway in the City of West Melbourne. The services shall be performed for the entire curb lane mile length, and twelve (12) times during the contract term and as requested by the City. This contract provides that the contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms. Sweeping times are limited to Monday through Friday during daylight hours. No sweeping will be done on holidays. Sweeping shall be done in the direction of normal traffic flow. No sweeping will be done during heavy rainfall or other extreme conditions as may be designated by the City. Roads may be added or deleted by the City.
