The Barrow County School System is interested in establishing data communications networks at its new East High school that will conform to established communications standards. The horizontal cabling system is based on the installation of 4-pair unshielded twisted pair (UTP) category 6 data cables and optical fiber – OM3 50/125 micron multi-mode, cat6 capable of and tested to passing of gigabit Ethernet traffic and fiber cabling capable of and tested to passing of 10-gigabit Ethernet traffic, all conforming to applicable ANSI/EIA/TIA/BICSI standards.
