The work the for this project is at the California Army National Guard Armory on Meadowview Road in Sacramento, California. The work is to complete a variety of repairs related to years of deferred maintenance of the facility. This deferred maintenance repair project will include the following components: 1. The repairs necessary to impede the water intrusion at the former indoor firing range space, and to restore the associated interior spaces. 2. Upgrade of all restroom facilities in the building, to include construction of a new women’s restroom/shower and replacement of all latrine fixtures within the building, with associated mechanical upgrades. 3. Assessment and removal of hazardous building materials within the project footprint. 4. Limited upgrade of facilities to become compliant with current State of California ADA regulations. 5. The replacement of five exterior doors. 6. Corrections to the grading and drainage systems to direct storm water away from the building and to mitigate water intrusion into the armory. 7. To repair and repave all of the east POV parking lot. 8. To complete limited upgrades to security fencing and gates, including the installation of conduit for motorized operators and controls. 9. To install motorized gate operator and controls (Additive Bid Item #1). Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. DBE goals. Time to complete is one year.
