The work to be performed consists of removal & replacement of existing pavement and replacement of the water main and appurtenant work, in accordance with the project plans as specified hereinafter, project specifications as specified hereinafter for the Whittier Utility Authority, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The Greenbook), 2018 Edition. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project and be responsible for obtaining a no fee excavation permit(s) for the project from the City of Whittier, Public Works Department. PLANS: 21-024 Sunset Water Main Replacement Project. Questions are due in writing via email until 11:00 AM on June 6th. No Verbal Requests will be accepted. The Contractor shall commence ordering all necessary materials within ten (10) working days after notification that the contract has been executed and shall be completed within forty (40) working days after date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
